Ginger Beer

The Ginger Beer is an ale made with pale, munich and chocolate malts and infused with German Hersbrucker hops and Asian stem ginger. Ginger is added with the aroma hops at the end of the boil and the overall effect is that of a very pale amber (ginger coloured!) beer with a bright, fresh ginger aroma and a medium bodied mouthfeel and slightly warming ginger aftertaste and round maltiness. This is a very satisfying pint that you can drink all night. The ginger flavor is light enough that after the first 2 or 3 sips from your pint it blends very subtly into the palate of the beer and it becomes only one thread of a very clean, complex tapestry of flavours.
