Jorōgumo

Jorōgumo is a lush, decadent 15% ABV Imperial Stout that was aged for 19 months in a 6th Street Rye Barrel, and then conditioned on Ugandan Vanilla beans.This beer has a huge barrel character on the nose, blended with heavy vanilla notes. There are flavors heavy in dark chocolate, some prickly rye, and fudge-y, sticky vanilla. There are some deep spiced notes with some cardamom and a hint of cinnamon. The stout is smooth and dense, without being overly heavy.
