Lying in Bedlam was a big hit when it was released back in 2019 and has always held a special place in our hearts. Similar to the OG version, the current batch is a sipping mead made with montmorency cherries, Ugandan vanilla beans and both ceylon and Vietnamese cinnamon. The biggest update to the recipe is the honey: this version was made with African Miombo blossom honey, a dark and intense honey from the Miombo Woodlands in east Africa that features notes of tobacco and chocolate. It added a new element of complexity that made this already delicious mead a truly epic sipper.Profile: Cherry pie for days. Background notes of tobacco, caramel, fall spices and dark chocolate.
