SummerBack in the day Cascade Brewery used to knock out a seasonal release or two; like their Summer Ale, which was technically wheat beer… just not like this.Bluestone Munich is a big banana machine (with a hint of clovey spice) when paired with a grain bill of 50/50 malted barley and malted wheat (a very traditional ratio).Hops is where we see a big break with tradition — creating a much more modern offering with Tettnang (for bitterness and spice), Topaz (lychee, clove-like spice and resinous grassy notes), Strata (big tropical fruit vibes) and Nectaron (nectarine and other stone fruits) hops.
