22 is special to us, it’s the street number of Equilibrium’s first location: 22 Henry Street. A place with fond memories and many good times. It cultivated many relationships and was where we built up our community and culture with you. For the 22nd iteration of the dHop series we had to pay homage to where it all started with a Henry Street touch on the label.dHop22 aka “dHop Henry Street” features a 100% Citra whirlpool and a 100% Nelson dry hop using Freestyle New Zealand hops. It pours a bright murky yellow and has aromas of citrus, New Zealand gooseberries, melon, and South Pacific open fields. The flavor is rich and juicy with notes of succulent tropical fruit, gooseberry, and grass with a thick body and a juicy buildup that transforms into slight dank finish with a pleasant bitterness. dHop22 Henry Street is a special beer not only because of the number but because it has been ranked as a top 5 in the series by many here.
