For this ale we engaged our mash tun as a hopback for excessively generous additions of whole cone New Zealand Riwaka and Pacifica. The resultant beer is of medium-firm strength, brewed with a grist comprising generous additions of flaked and toasted oats for a highly pleasant dichotomy of dry finish and long luxurious texture on the palate.A glorious deep burnt orange colour shines. Hop aroma leaps from the glass then retracts right back down through the palate with herbal notes and a pleasant long nectarine finish.
