Late last year we heard Valtteri Sinkkonen and his team were working to open a Banh Mi place in Sörnäinen, Helsinki.We’ve heard about these baguettes so we went and checked out the, then pop-up, place.Needless to say, the food was amazing so we offered team N4ku a beer to match!Our rice beer is based on our California Common but half of the barley is replaced by rice flakes. We learned that there's a reason why not many breweries brew rice beer from which you can actually taste the rice :DThe beer is hopped with Sorachi Ace hops to give it the taste of luxurious Japanese lager.Both us and the N4ku Restaurant team are super happy about the pairing so head to Kulmavuorenkatu and give us your opinion! ? ?
