One of four collaborations as part of the initial international Sour Cities Project, this series of sour beers was made exclusively for the Thai market, seeking to highlight unique sour flavors from both Hong Kong and Bangkok. This beer is based on the traditional iced lemon tea from Hong Kong. Made with Pale Ale, Wheat, Cara Pils and Caramunich malts, Warrior hops, with lemon juice and tea sourced from a local Cha Chaan Teng restaurant.Winner: Chairman's Award Asia Beer Championships 2023 and bronze IWSCNose: Citrusy and fruity notes up front with clear lemon character, the tea leaves add subtle earthy and herbal notes. Some hints of caramel sweetness.Appearance: Light amber with soft white head. Low Retention.Taste: A lemon tartness, with a subtle earthy backbone. Lemon and tea flavours are clear. Creamy rounded mouthfeel with a crisp, clean finish.
