Claude Monet probably painted the still life "Apples and Grapes" in 1880, a piece that shows a complexity of color, light, and texture found in his Impressionist landscapes. We brought Apples and Grapes together as well, searching for similar complexities. We aged our 2017-18 season cider from our friends at Weaver's Orchard with Red Wine Grape Pomace from Manatawny Creek Winery. The result? A beautiful rosé-colored Cider, extremely dry and lightly funky, with underlying notes of red wine and subtle tannins. Sip this one slowly and enjoy contemplating the complexities of the world around us.
