Hope & Place Elderberry

Apple and other fruit trees can take many years to mature and bear fruit. Planting such a tree has been considered an act of hope that a family might stay rooted in that place. Our cider comes from an orchard founded nearby in the 1930s that has stayed in the Weaver family for nearly 80 years. We ferment that cider dry with a mix of our house yeast cultures, resulting in a unique cider that represents this part of Pennsylvania, and remains an ode to Hope & Place. This batch was conditioned on bunches of foraged Elderberries!
