Traditional mead w/ Meadowfoam & Orange blossom honeys.Billy's Note: A couple years ago we launched our Love Letters To The West series of traditional meads to showcase & celebrate the terroir of the American West. This beautiful & rugged landscape is also home to some world class honey, and we wanted to show the world how that translated as mead.For this latest installment in the series we've brought together two fan favorite honey varietals: Oregon's meadowfoam blossom honey & California's orange blossom honey. Essentially marshmallows, citrus peel and jasmine flowers in a glass. One honey from the land of giant redwoods, the other from down here in the desert.Profile: This is a sweet, sipping traditional mead meant to showcase beautiful honeys with intense aromatics. The nose starts with notes of vanilla & crème brûlée followed by orange peel, marshmallow and white flowers. The taste is sweet with a lusciously full mouthfeel & rich finish.
