So first off, you might be wondering what an Adambier is. And you'd be right to wonder, since this very old beer style isn't brewed often.My Adambier is not historically accurate, I chose to base my recipe on @hairofthedogbrewing's iconic "Adam". The recently-closed Portland brewery is legendary for their strong beers and it goes without saying that HotD is a huge inspiration to me. Happy retirement, Alan!My take on this "modern Adambier" style is dark, but not "stout-y". Smoke is present but not overwhelming from the peated malt in the grain bill.
