Quadrupel | Vintage Ale

A rich, deep amber coloured beer brewed in the Belgian Monastic tradition to Quadrupel strength. A panoply of dried fruit notes from the malts and dark Belgian candy sugar harmonise with the heady stonefruit esters from our Belgian yeast blend. Bittering with a European-type hop adds an underlying lemony herbal note with a gentle but present bitterness. The yeast character takes the fore whilst this beer is young, but as it ages you will notice more warming raisin, dried fig, and rum-like notes from the malt.
