As we continue to expand our lager program, we’re excited to release our first Baltic porter. For those unfamiliar, this style of porter is much different than those we’ve made in the past. This creamy, lighter-bodied beer was cold fermented with lager yeast, then cold lagered in Elijah Craig bourbon barrels. We get notes of chocolate and light coffee from the malts and hints of dark sugar with an enveloping and warming barrel linger. We’re beyond pleased with how this turned out.
