Bière De Garde - Blend 3

This is our third edition of Bière de Garde. It was produced from a blend of four barrels, from four different beers, produced in June 2018, March 2019, August 2019 and July 2020. The contrasting brews varied in colour and production technique. Some used a turbid mash, others an ale mash, with colours varying from from pale to brown. Both aged and fresh hops were used in the boils. They each fermented in a range of fairly neutral barrels, allowing the flavour of the malt, hops and fermentations to shine. The resulting blend is dry and toasty, with balancing acidity and funk.
