Brewed for Rare Beer 2024. To capture the essence of the mint julep cocktail, we macerated 3 varieties of mint tea, & infused w/ bourbon & vanilla pods that had been on oak staves for 4 weeks. Throughout the maceration, we strategically added & removed the mint teas to construct layers of complexity, aiming to emulate the bourbon & mint characteristics of the classic cocktail. Finally, we enhanced the infusion by running it through freshly foraged mint leaves, resulting in a rich & nuanced flavor profile reminiscent of a perfectly crafted mint julep.
