We got together with our friends at Sonnen Hill to discuss brewing a beer together. Just then, we noticed a flash of colour in the garden. Like a whimsical muse sent from the heavens, a hummingbird materialized before us. It hovered in mid-air, defying gravity and belief alike.So, did this hummingbird bestow upon us an otherworldly inspiration to brew this pre-prohibition style lager that would encapsulate the spirit of the fleeting encounter, and bear it's name? No, not really. It's just a style that the brewers at Sonnen Hill and here at GLB wanted to make.
