Russel Reserve (S05)

For our seventh anniversary we wanted to show off some of the depth that we have built into our stout program. This is 1 of the 3 barrels that make up the blend known as “Streams,” presented on its own, unblended.This beer is our S05 yeast stream of stout. It is fermented with a neutral yeast strain and as such presents the most naked, and neutral representation of our stout recipe. Technically speaking, we think of this as our base, base stout, so to speak.It was aged in a Russel Reserve barrel for 18 months.
