Farmhouse Ale Aged in Madeira BarrelsBottled 10/4/22In this version of Freestyle, we blended two of our favorite base beers, East bank and Funky blender that had already aged in neutral French oak wine barrels for months and added them to recently used Madeira wine barrels for an additional 8 months. The delicate base beer picked up flavors of caramel and vanilla from the secondary aging process.
