Smoked beers are an interesting part of the beer world – for the most part, you either love them or you don’t. But they’re also as historic a part of the story of beer as any other style. Our latest smoked beer is a brown ale, brewed using both Mesquite and Cherrywood smoked malts, which add a rich, savory flavor. Make no mistake about it – smoke is the dominant characteristic of this beer – but subtle notes from the cherrywood along with the roasty notes you expect from a brown ale linger in the background.
