This past fall we had the great pleasure of being able to travel to Yakima and select hops.This year we selected for the varietal Citra, otherwise known as the GOAT (not actually, but let’s be honest, this hop basically made IPA what it is today) and as always, it was a lovely variety to select for. This year we were stuck between 2 different lots, like really stuck, and couldn’t choose. Both were so lovely… Then we pulled up some raw oil composition data and one lot jumped off the sheet. Quite literally the highest we’ve ever seen in basically every oil metric and grown by one of our favourite farms, Coleman Agriculture. Choosing it became a no brainer.We’re thrilled to be able to share our selection of Citra with you.
