We had the pleasure of brewing a very special beer... with a couple legendary x-pats... Russ Summerell and his good friend Lloyd Davidson. Both have called Honduras home for several decades. Lloyds passion now resides in Copan at Macaw Mountain Bird Park and Nature Reserve, and operating his coffee brand, Cafe Miramundo. We were in luck as he was on island, and last minute brew was scheduled.So... It's a specially designed smooth porter, made with debittered malt, infused with a large dose of cold brewed Miramundo coffee, earthy noble hops, and a hint of Honduran vanilla. What else? Well a high pressure infusion of Nitrogen creates a smooth creaminess and that famous cascade. The very light dose of noble hops, ensure you can enjoy all the roasted coffee flavours, without any harshness getting in the way. There is also a good dose caffeine, and very solid 6% ABV.
