Meadowfoam blossom sweet traditional style mead. Aged on L’Encantada 25 yr. Armagnac soaked American Oak.* Encantada has been pushing the envelope for years but this is a whole new level. This is a blend of 25 year old cask strength armagnacs aged for at least 25 years finished in ex-bourbon american oak casks. This is prohibited under the Armagnac appelation, so the product must be sold as brandy but that does not prevent it from being one of the most interesting offerings from the region. The exact blend of vintage Armagnacs are as follows: Belair 1989, Del Cassou 1985, Lasalle 1992, Del Cassou 1993, Del Cassou 1994. This was then matured for an additional half year in ex-Weller barrels from the buffalo trace
