Inky is our annual blend of imperial stout aged in some of our finest barrels.Inky (December 2024) is composed of: one part Heaven Hill barrel aged for 40 months; one part Willett Bourbon Barrel aged for 23 months and a ½ part each of 18 month old Russel Reserve Bourbon and Willett Rye Whiskey barrels.This year we decided to pull off a small amount of our base Inky and pair it with a particularly gorgeous micro-lot of Tahitian vanilla. We used a smaller dosing rate than is typical for most of our vanilla beers in order to accent this already exquisite base beer rather than dominate it. The result is special, to say the least.
