Noble Star Collection: Double Barrel Elderberry

This beer was made with elderberries from the MidwestElderberry Cooperative. Itwas made with a Berliner Weisse base that was then aged on Elderberries for two weeks before spending an additional 8 months in a french oak winebarrel. It has a beautiful reddish-purple hue to it with a rose water like aroma. It has a nice tartness with a complex fruitiness and a drying, tannic quality from the elderberries.
