Kolsch beers are interesting all on their own – brewed like an ale using ale yeast for fermentation. But, the beer itself is fermented at a colder temperature like a lager. A Kolsch pours features a light, golden color, which makes this particular variant, a Coffee Kolsch, a real trick on the senses. The aroma, taste, and flavor just don’t match what you’re seeing! We brewed this exceptionally light and crisp beer, then tossed in quality coffee, and the coffee really shines through.
