We at Blacklist Coffee Roasters have teamed up with James Squire to produce a limited edition Coffee Oatmeal Stout and it is now available at the Generous Squire in Shafto Lane and The Squire's Fortune in Scarborough. We only brewed 1000 litres of it and it will only be available on tap at those 2 locations, so get in quick!For you coffee geeks, we used 3kgs of Brazil Sao Benedito and 2kgs of Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Idido(which I might add is bloody tasty!) and we added the whole beans in a giant "teabag" into the stout 3 days before the end of fermentation, allowing the ethanol in the stout to draw out the coffee flavours.
