We put together a real classic Extra Summer Mild recipe brewed in the traditional ESM way with Maris Otter, East Kent Goldings, and London yeast. If you haven’t had one in a while, you might have forgotten that an Extra Summer Mild is kind of like a pale, gently hoppy cousin of the classic Dark Mild we love so much. In this one, we’re getting notes of tangerine spread on toasted biscuit, apple slices you sliced a little bit ago, oatmeal with honey, fresh garden herbs, and classic ESM moreishness.
