Brewed right here in Wanaka, ‘Suns of Midas’ is the love child of Wellington brewers ‘Heyday beer co.’ and Wanaka’s ‘Ground Up Brewing’.This hazy ‘Golden Pale Ale’ is crammed full of Golden Malts, and a brand new, yet to be named, NZ variety of hop called ‘4337’, alongside American powerhouses Ekuanot and Bravo.Made soft and pillowy with the addition of lactose (milk sugar) and a huge amount of caramelised oats and puffed wheat.Expect bright citrus juiciness, pineapple, and a big resinous nose.Malts: Golden Promise, Golden naked oats, Torrefied wheat, Caragold, LactoseHops: HORT4337, Ekuanot, BravoYeast: Lalbrew New England
