Following an Old World formula, but brewed in the New World. Reflecting a new home of lager off yonder from the motherland.Maize and Sorghum were used as an adjunct to lighten the colour and add a bit of sweetness to the flavour.Not a “true” lager, in the sense that some pronounced fermentation character can be found. The Revival Pre Prohibition lager has been fermented warmer, and New World hops have been used.The result is something kind of akin to German or Czech Pilsner, but incorporating elements of both - firm hop character from the Germans and rounded malt flavour from the Czechs - tied in with a New World hop flair.
