Ingredients: Water, barley malt, oat malt, coffee beans, hops, coriander seeds, yeast.Yeast: London ESBExtra: Cold ale fermentation, sidamo coffee beans, indian coriander seeds.IT'S ALL ABOUT COFFEEWe all know stouts and coffee fit extremly well.But we wanted to create something different. So we decided to brew a light bodied but balanced beer which is all about the roasted coffee beans of our favorite roastery Kaffee Fabrik in our hometown, Braunschweig.A pale malt base by the use of pilsner malt and cara hell ensures the perfect stage to lighten up the coffee in aroma and flavour.We smell a ton of green coffee aroma, some toffee and a hint of coconut due to the supporting role of sabro hops. Some undertones of sulfur may occur because of the relatively cold fermentation.The flavour is driven by coffee, hints of lemon and some traces of herbals induced by the coriander seeds.We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we do!
