Spiders are an unlikely friend to brewers and are commonly found in barrel rooms helping to manage fruit fly populations. An ode to our creepy friend, Spiders in the Woods is a small-batch barrel aged saison, a part of our experimentation with mixed culture fermentation. For this one, we rested a saison in one of our favorite small oak barrels with second use sake lees for 6 months. An unmistakable Brett nose is followed by an incredibly soft, slightly funky, easy drinking beer that's fit for humans and spiders alike!
