Coffee Cake: Apple Streusel

We took a meticulously crafted blend of imperial stouts, aged it in apple brandy & maple barrels, and proceeded to get buck with it. Cinnamon sticks, toasted coconut, vanilla, and our house-roasted Black House blend coffee joined the party; the cinnamon is restrained, playing off the barrel character and sweetness of the other adjuncts in an absolutely delightful fashion. It makes for a wonderful convergence of fall flavors that will undoubtedly hold up through the holiday season, if you’re able to hold off cracking it for any length of time. We wouldn’t blame you if you can’t.
