Chariots of Fire starts out as a blend of Forgotten, our 2 year Sazerac Rye barrel aged cherry mead, and BBA Elliot, aged 12 months in a 14-16 year Four Roses bourbon barrel. The combo of these two barrels and meads created something really special, but it was asking for a touch of something extra… so it was then treated to a tasteful dose of chipotle peppers. Cherry and blueberry entry palate leads to a gripping Chipotle pepper smokiness with a subtle touch of heat to finish it off.
