It’s summertime and beer is pouring through the taps faster than ever. In order to try and keep up with demand, we decided to try our hand at a kellerbier. Kellerbier, which translates to “cellar beer” is a yeast and malt-forward lager that is not filtered or pasteurised allowing for a short amount of tank time. Using a classic recipe with the modern touch of KRISPY, this beer doesn’t try to be something it is not. Expect a light body with fresh notes of bready malt character and a hint of fruitiness.
