Thorn has a strong claim to the title "Greatest British Pear" and this bottle would be produced in a court of law as evidence for that! A treasured early season pear, this was fermented in an oak cask and bottled pét nat, retaining the natural sugars and the zest of a young perry. It was then named Best Sweet Perry at the International Cider & Perry Competition at the Museum of Cider, Hereford. Honey, nectar, kiwi, lime, elderflower, lemon, pure delicious fruit, vibrating and oscillating across the palate in a sensational avalanche of flavour. One more please!
