Barnburner Belgian Farmhouse Ale

A lightly hopped golden ale that was aged 6 months in wine barrels and inoculated with Brettanomyces bruxellensis for a secondary fermentation in the wine casks. The gentle aging results in a beer that has more acidity with mild tartness and oakiness. The hop levels in this beer are light with notes of pineapple and low residual bitterness. The barrel aging provides additional wine characteristics of peach and light berries. A very session-able Belgian-Style Farmhouse Table Beer for the warm Summer months.
