This is a beer commonly referred to as a S.M.A.S.H. beer. This means that it is a Single Malt andSingle Hop beer or that we only used one variety of malt and one variety of hops.The malt we chose is a Munich style malt from Dingemans Malts and the hop we chose for this beer is the American Classic Cascade. When combined this single malt variety and single hop variety create a beer that is a beautiful light amber color with an intense citrus and floral aroma. This beer also features a very nice balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. This beer is fermented using an AmericanPilsner yeast that ferments clean with very little yeast flavor so that it keeps the spotlight on the malt and hops.
