Old ale brewed with honey and dark candi sugar. Aged for 20 months in a single, second use heaven hill bourbon barrel. Used a second use barrel to allow longer ageing time without an overpowering spirit character. A more subtle, integrated barrel character, with tons of aged, tawny port flavors. The barrel was the same barrel used to age DadFlannel in early 2017.
