A light Czech-style lager, or as it is called by the Czechs – “Ležák”, dry, with a refreshing aroma of atec hops, based on a special Weyermann line malt - Bohemian Pilsner – prepared using authentic Czech barley - the Hanka variety. This “Ležák” is brewed using the traditional boiling-off or decoction method, where the thick part of the mash is removed three times during mashing and is boiled, thus giving full flavor and body to this beer, despite the low strength. The beer is quite well saturated with carbon dioxide and acquires the property that the Czechs call rzhis. This is a tingling sensation on the tip of the tongue like a fizzy candy.
