JRF Brewing & Blending: Imperial Irish Coffee Stout Aged In Irish Whiskey Barrels

A combination of our favorite beverages: beer, whiskey, and coffee. We started with our base Imperial Stout recipe and added milk sugar to create a silky mouthfeel. After sitting on cacao nibs and vanilla beans for a few weeks, we cold steeped Kaldi's coffee beans in the beer. Finally the beer was aged in Irish Whiskey barrels to complete the flavors of our Irish Coffee. A lightly sweet and roasty beer with hints of oak and spice from the whiskey.
