Vossabrygg Original is a copper-colored gold treasure of a craft beer - and a true tribute to the rich home brewing traditions based on a classic home brew receipe from the Voss-region.Brewing with juniper and quail, - a key ingredient in home brew from the Voss-area entirely since the Viking Age - provided a distinctive beer with a perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness. The beer has a soft touch of oatmeal and a characteristic, mild smoke flavour that comes from beech-smoked barley malt. Vossabrygg original is brewed in open pots with old-fashioned yeast. Vossabrygg original is a rustic and versatile beer that blends perfectly into smoked and salty traditional foods. The beer is neither pasteurized or filtered and contains some natural yeast sediment.
