This rustic saison was brewed with a base of wind malt, pilsner-style malt, and a bit of red spring wheat. The mash was padded with Kentucky bluegrass straw grown in the same land as the rest of the grist. Boiled with a healthy addition of Saaz hops and fermented entirely by the cultures that happen to live within barrel #22 - a neutral French oak cask. Saison can be a lot of things. This is just one of them.
