Shiraz Red Ale

Just to make things even funkier, we’ve taken our red ale base, tweaked it a little bit, and co-fermented it with a little shiraz juice. Just like in the base red ale there’s a solid caramel malt backbone, with toasty notes and a strong caramel and toffee flavour. However the addition of the shiraz juice has added a juicy red berry flavour to this beer. Expect subtle notes of cherries and cranberries to peek through the caramel flavours in this hybrid.
