Our latest collab with Lulo Coffee utilizes cascara, which is the dried skin of the coffee cherry. This cascara is made up of Caturra and Bourbon coffee cherry skins from Colombia. The producer, Wilfredo Ule Vargas, is renowned for his quality, having won multiple awards over the years.We tossed a bunch of this cascara into a Tropical Stout base to lend some leathery, earthy notes to a robust, rich stout, with lot's of roasty and chocolatey tones.Do yourself a favour and pay attention to Kevin's work at Lulo.
