BA Keeping Porter - The Original Marbendill was a collab with Borg Brugghús in Iceland. It was Imagined as a Baltic porter fermented 100% with Brettanomyces yeast.When the idea came up to revisit the beer we not only decided to make the beer stronger, but also to enhance the beer by barrel-aging it.The result is a beer with a complex pallet of red fruits, dark roast and spices. The barrel-aging brings notes of vanilla, molasses, figs and some extra warmth.It stayed weird, in a good way, just like the Marbendill itself, a half man/ half-seal creature that is said to roam Icelandic waters.
