For our maiden brew on our new brewing kit we wanted to do something special. What did beer taste like before we started using hops?This beer, a Gruit, is our take on the medieval Dutch practice to use a mix of herbs to brew beer. It contains absolutely no hops at all!We used yarrow, ground ivy, heather, horehound, wild wormwood, and some juniper berries to flavour this unique beer.
