A distant oompah band prumps, the smell of fresh soft-bread pretzels fills the air and the tables clink and cheer with the steins of lederhosen clad party-goers. Little do they know you’ve gone rogue, your glass is filled with something a little different, but welcome all the same. This Czech Amber Lager presents a soft amber/deep caramel hue and arrives with aromas of honey and fresh bread. On the palate it leans towards an unctuous sweetness and soft bitterness with hints of spice from Saaz and Sterling additions to the kettle. The finish lingers with herbal and woody notes supported by delicate caramel sweetness.
