Back in 2019 we met Mark from Drekker Brewing of Fargo, North Dakota. We chatted it up and decided that whenever we were in each other's cities, we would make a beer together. Fast forward to 2022 and the Drekker team was supposed to fly into Sacramento for a beer festival in the Bay. Unfortunately, the beer fest was cancelled but we still wanted to carry through with our collaboration brew. Chonkberries is a collaboration recipe between Moksa's berry sours and Drekker's Chonk Series. We decided on a Sour Ale fermented with Raspberries, Blackberries, Plums, and Meadowfoam Honey.
