Notes of caramel, molasses and toffee on the nose, in the background they are accompanied by cherry candies, dried fruit and a hint of vanilla. Mixture of oats and barley creates a creamy texture, a rich foam and a complex palette. This beer was aged in four different bourbon and rum barrels. Each contributed a bit of character. The result is a rich, full body and a finish with a pleasant alcoholic warmth that lingers long after the sip is finished.
